During our recent stay at Venue Reading Accommodation for the Reading Festival, I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and quiet ambiance of this student-hall-turned-temporary-lodge-it felt far more like a cozy retreat than a budget option. The friendly staff made a lasting impression, especially when they offered tips on local taxi services to avoid overpriced rides back after a long day of music. With ample parking available and a communal kitchen that fostered a sense of community, it was an ideal base for our festival escapades while still allowing us those necessary moments of solitude to recharge. If you're looking for a cost-effective and accessible spot near the event, this is definitely one place I'd recommend!
